Summary
Sometimes, Jimin dreams of the ocean separating them. Sometimes, in these dreams, he throws himself into the water and swims all the way to him. Hoseok is there, standing on the shore, pulling Jimin from the water and gathering him into his arms, kissing him breathless. Other times, and this one seems even more fantastical, Jimin dreams he takes his mug to the shore, the one Hoseok painted with little sunflowers, and he dips it into the water. He drinks it, drop after drop, cup after cup, until the ocean is gone and he and Hoseok can meet in the middle. In his dreams, the water tastes like cherry syrup. Whenever he wakes from these dreams, with tears drying on his cheeks, he thinks that just buying a plane ticket would be easier.
