Summary
He can see ghosts, which means he still has family. Still has Shisui, and all the aunts and uncles and cousins and distant relatives he didn’t even know before. Still has mother, her kind smile and her knowledge. Still has father, as well, although Fugaku stays distant most days, wallowing in regrets and things that make the air around him terribly cold.
Sasuke is glad, selfishly, for that small mercy.
He could have lived without the ghost drama, though....
Or: the one where Sasuke can see ghosts, and things aren't as bad as they could be.

Summary

Naruto lurched forward on instinct, only to jerk backwards as Neji’s vicelike grip clamped his shoulder.
“What in the hell are you doing?” Neji hissed. His lavender eyes bored into Naruto’s skull with the intensity of a sniper’s scope—unblinking, unyielding.
“What’s that s’posed to mean?” Naruto snarled, fingers curling into fists to stop himself from slamming the Hyūga into the nearest wall. “That’s Sasuke. I know it’s Sasuke! My bondmate. The father of my kids—” The only soul I’ve ever loved.
“Na. Ru. To.” Neji bit out each syllable like a curse, grip shifting to clamp Naruto’s jaw. “You cannot kidnap civilians off the street. That’s not vigilantism—it’s a felony.”

Summary
There's a lot of expectation attached to Steve Rogers' name. It's taken him years to prove his own worth - that he's made it so far in the USNA on his own merit and not just because of his father. He's close though - there are only a few more months until he graduates and gets to stand on his own two feet. It's taken a lot of effort to get there, and a lot of sacrifices.
Bucky's beyond the point of expectation. When your father and grandfather have both been President - and your mother nurses political ambitions of her own - brilliance is a foregone conclusion. He's just counting down the final months of his confinement to the glass cage of the White House and he's determined to put that whole world behind him.
But as the days standing between them and their dreams dwindle, Steve comes to realize he might have made one sacrifice too many, and Bucky learns that his freedom comes at a cost he's never going to be able to pay.
