Nancy leaned in, voice low under the pulse of the song. “Robin Buckley,” she said, slow and deliberate, “you’re hired.”
Robin froze. Her face lit with equal parts delight and terror, like she’d just realized she was about to be recruited into something insane.
“Okay,” she whispered, reverent. “But you have to tell me what I'm being hired for before I go back on air and accidentally announce it to all of Indiana.”

Enid and Wednesday graduated from Nevermore. After being apart for a year, they reunite at Addams' manor and realize they have to somehow navigate their relationships without ignoring something obvious. Luckily, they both have a family to help and support them.

Summary
Wednesday always thought people's emotions were like water.
Big bodies of water, deep, wide, and so, so, blue.
Sometimes they were a still pond. Clear and clean, ripe for one to dip their toes in whenever they felt. People just did things that made them happy, or sad, or angry.
Wednesday thought everyone else had free reign over their feelings. Hers, well, hers were different.
It felt like a pane of glass.
Dense, aquarium glass. Three inches thick and eight feet tall.
So sometimes, when the thrashing waves escaped their enclosure, water would spill over the edge. Not much. But she would feel it, the moisture webbing between her fingers, dripping from the palm of her hand.
(In which Wednesday goes from feeling near-nothing to everything, all the time, and Enid is there to catch her when she falls)
