Problem was, Dean never really felt like he got away, especially not now.
Other times, it sort of made sense to him; he could convince himself of his own survival after the fact, if John had simply grabbed hold of the nearest switch, or bottle, or just his belt or his fists.
This time, he could’ve sworn John had the gun in his hand.

Sam and Eileen seem like they’re having a grand old time doing all of that. Why not give it a shot with Cas? After all, what's the worst that could happen?
