A dead end in the investigation makes Seonghwa finally visit a popular club catering to vampire clientele. With Yeosang’s help, he’s supposed to bait a member of the infamous criminal group to approach them.
After a stressful evening, sharing a sweet night together is all they need.

This story doesn’t focus on the investigation part heavily, it’s only mentioned and described quite vaguely - just so you aren’t disappointed if you are expecting something more in-depth. I might delve into the details in some future fic, though, while keeping this one more focused on their relationship.

If the atmosphere was stifling before, it only got worse when Seonghwa lifted his chin higher and let a slight sign of anger show on his face. “What do you fucking mean, feeders?”
“I-I mean- I mean humans, of course.”

After accepting a mission to explore a suspicious warehouse, Seonghwa was prepared for the worst. He saw many horrific sights during his centuries as a vampire, so he steels himself, expecting to give a proper example to one of their assistants in training. Inside, he's met with death and suffering, and a young man begging to be saved. Perhaps, even after all those years, he couldn't resist fulfilling wishes of pretty pleading humans.
And, just like that, he ends up with a new young vampire in his coven.

Mingi is just doing his best friend and platonic soulmate in the whole wide world, Yunho, a favour! Finding out who the mystery man was that he met on the street and stole his heart should be child's play. The search leads him to Wonderland, a host/ess bar and restaurant and Mingi has a plan: request Wooyoung as a Host, talk up Yunho and get the two to meet again and possibly married; he's not picky.
All of that goes out the window when he gets to Wonderland and meets Hongjoong, a long-tenured Host and the most gorgeous man Mingi's ever seen.
