“Soap was falling to his death, but strangely, he never felt more alive.
He felt wild. The roaring, thundering drum of a war song, encompassing all of his being, letting him go, making him free. It was such an almighty sound.”
Or: Soap fell through the window when Ghost took a shot in Chicago, ran into a shapeshifter and got a dad out of it, learnt more about Ghost past, and got his heritage revealed to him in a response to his own joke. Not necessarily in that order.

Summary
Elusive stars winked down at them, like paint splatters on the great big canvas of the sky. He sighs, raising his finger to the sky and tracing nonsensical patterns between the dots. He leans into Ghost's side, eyes flitting over to said man only to see him staring right at him. "You counted them all yet?" He jokes.
"I can say with complete confidence that there are at least a hundred." Soap huffs in reply, earning a small chuckle from Ghost. He had yet to roll his mask back down, giving Soap the perfect view of his soft smile, reserved for him and him only.
