With all the media buzz you’ve been getting for your superstar cultivation abilities and that pretty face of yours, I’m sure everyone’s clamouring for a piece of Lan Zhan. But don’t worry! Wei Ying is here now, I can fend off the massing hordes. All I ask in return is the use of your couch! Or if you don’t have a couch, I’d be happy with a rug. Hahaha, I’d be happy with a soft plank of wood. You know me! Low-maintenance, that’s what they say about Wei Ying.”
Lan Zhan is not going to burst into tears. He tells himself this very sternly, and motions Wei Ying inside. He manages to keep his voice relatively steady as he says, “Wei Ying. Please come in.”

The innies must grapple with the reality that their lives are ultimately not their own, that their agency only goes so far...what choice do they have when their bodies begin to change without their consent?
Helly seizes upon an opportunity to make her outie's life miserable.
