Summary
“I was made of snow,” the woman says, lowering her voice like she’s delivering a lecture. "And now I’m not. Can you believe it?”
Mark Scout clears his throat and looks around again. His hand slips into his pocket. “No, actually. I, uh, can’t believe that.”
--
Hot Frosty AU. Mark Scout lives two lives: pleasant, friendly Mark S. at work and discontent loner Mark Scout at home. Summary
"There's not much time. I need to make sure that you're going to trust me." His grip on Mark's arms tightened. "No matter where you see me, or when, or how I seem. Okay? You've got to trust me."
Mark grinned, even though he was still so confused. "Of course I trust you."
"You think you do now, but on the outside, Mark, that's when I really need you to believe me."

Summary
The numbers scared him.
They joked about how some numbers were "scary" but it went unspoken that they also knew that there was great power in the numbers.
These were especially bad, though.
—
After refining The Numbers, Dylan G. receives a mysterious message originating from the Swan station. The refiners, the Others, and Desmond must try to uncover the secret history between Lumon and the DHARMA Initiative. This fic primarily takes place during seasons 1 and 2 of Lost and around the time of season 1 of Severance; however, it has spoilers for the entirety of both shows. Each chapter follows different characters; the structure is a hybrid of both shows, including Lost-style flashbacks.

Summary
Helly stands up from her desk, feeling weak and shaky. She locks eyes with Mark, who isn’t doing much better. There’s a roaring in her ears as Milchick continues to talk, but she can’t focus on him. All she can focus on is Mark, and how sad and scared he looks. How she’s gotten so used to him, how she just realized she likes him, and how suddenly, thanks to his outie, she’s about to lose him forever.
---
When MDR finds out Mark S’s outie has tendered his resignation, they’ve got two weeks to do something about it. Unbeknownst to them, they might have some help on the outside, too.

Summary
As soon as Helena pushes the door closed behind them, she’s hit by the gentle weight of Mark's body as he presses her into the adjacent wall, a gasp suspended in the back of her throat as his lips cover hers. She responds without really meaning to, just muscle memory, her head leaning back into his cupped hand as he protects her from knocking against the hard surface. The act of it is so tender that she can’t take it anymore, can’t take this—something she didn’t earn and doesn’t deserve.
She wedges her hand between them, palm to his chest, and pushes back. The look of hurt that flashes in his eyes is almost enough to pull him back to her.
“I’m—I’m sorry, Helly. Before the OTC… I should’ve kissed you back then; I wanted to. I—I thought—”
“I’m Helena Eagan,” she says, the confession tumbling out as an exhale.

Summary
Helly R. had never hoped as hard as she was now.
It was thrumming through all her being while her glossy, polished nails slid over the mouse of the computer.
Mark was leaning over the green wall he had lowered in a seemingly grand gesture of concern for her, one she knew he wanted her to notice, a silent message to tell her she wasn’t alone.
Helly R. couldn’t care less.

Summary
“You and your family created hell, and you’re going to burn in it!” Helly seethes with a passion and conviction that Helena has not felt in her soul for a very, very long time.
They both await Jame’s reaction with bated breath.
He doesn’t move an inch, but Helena’s stomach drops at the sight of the small smile that spreads across his stoney face.“There he is.”
Oh fuck.

What would Helena think and feel about Helly’s adventures in the final 2 episodes of season 2?
As Helly finally begins to accept Helena as a part of herself, and as Mark chooses her anyway.Inspired by Helena watching the elevator kiss scene on repeat, this is my take on what would happen if Helena was able to watch the tapes from “The After Hours” and “Cold Harbor”.

Summary
“Why didn’t you leave?” Helly asks, “You were almost out.”
“I needed more time,” Mark says as he reaches for her hand. Their fingers connect again and Helly notices that his palm is clammy.
“What you need is a doctor,” Helly replies, as she shifts her body so that they’re sitting side by side, shoulders touching, “And I don’t think we’ll get one anytime soon. You might regret this.”
Post Cold Harbor. Picking up from the moment Mark and Helly started running down the hallways into their first night of the innie uprising. Helly takes care of Mark.

“What is this?” Mark asks, reaching forward to take the sheet from Dylan’s hand.
“That’s what we’re asking you,” Dylan responds.
Irving clears his throat. “It’s clearly a list of tasks to accomplish today, given that we’ve finished this quarter’s refining assignments.”
“But none of these things make sense,” Helly cuts in. She steps closer to Mark and jabs her finger at the paper. “Like, what the hell is ‘pet play’? ‘Creampie’?”

Summary
His eyes landed on her glasses.
Helly tilted her head, pushing the frames higher on her nose with deliberate slowness. “Oh my god. That’s it, isn’t it? You’ve been staring at me all day because of these stupid things?”
“Helly...” His voice was low, warning.
She laughed, baffled, because what else could she do? “Unbelievable. All that broody silence and it’s because I look like, what? A high school librarian?”
Mark set the mug down with a hard clink. Stepped closer. Too close.
**
Or Helly finds herself in glasses, Mark isn't mad about it.

Summary
Her thumb dug in harshly, without remorse and with as much disdain as she’d heard in her outie’s voice in that video. She bit her tongue and did it again, a new spot on her left arm, using her good thumb to injure just as she imagined her outie used her good hand to sign Helly away to this fucking oblivion forever.
I am a person.
(when all else fails, helly finds a more effective and unorthodox way of communicating with her outie)

Summary
“Who are you? Who are you? Where were you born?” He taunts her. “What was the colour of your mother’s eyes?”
“Fuck you!” Helly’s eyes shine with tears and rage and she launches herself towards Mark. Even though he’s expecting it, he barely has time to shift, so that instead of punching him square in the face she rakes his cheek with her nails. It stings. “Bring him back!” She follows up, grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him as though she thinks the Mark S stuck inside his head could rattle loose again.
Helly beats Mark up then sucks his dick.

Summary
"No, no," Mark is saying, "it's like a goat, but it's not like a goat."
It's been five minutes of him trying to describe the animal he saw during the OTC, and he has yet to give a half-decent description. "That makes no sense," Helly tells him. "Is it like a goat or not?"
