"[Kier] left her as she grew." -Jame Eagan.
Inspired by the show Severance, this story explores Helena Eagan's adolescence as she is forced to suppress her fiery spirit and sense of individuality and made to abide by the strict Kier/Eagan Family indoctrination. Conditionally severing herself from her inner Helly R way before she gets a chip. Some scenes are inspired by specific moments of the show to add to the deep layers of subtext.

Summary
Harmony observed her with an unsettling lack of emotion, yet Helly didn't fail to catch the glimpse of intrigue in Harmony's eyes as she studied her. The Severed floor manager found it utterly fascinating that Helly persistently fought with a near-violent resistance towards the Severance procedure, and on the other hand, Helena longed equally as hard for escape from her obligation to fulfil her family legacy. Poor Helly didn't realise it, but she was destined to a life of misery. There was nothing worthwhile waiting for her on the other side.
"If it was truly up to me, Helly, you would not be here.”

"There's not much time. I need to make sure that you're going to trust me." His grip on Mark's arms tightened. "No matter where you see me, or when, or how I seem. Okay? You've got to trust me."
Mark grinned, even though he was still so confused. "Of course I trust you."
"You think you do now, but on the outside, Mark, that's when I really need you to believe me."

Summary
Standing on her stoop is the last person in the world that Helena expected to see. Judging by the woman’s hunched shoulders and darting eyes, she surmises that the front step of the Eagan estate is also the last place Gemma Scout expected to find herself. “What are you doing here?” Gemma doesn’t answer right away. Her face clouds with confusion. Perhaps she doesn’t know the answer herself.
Lost in the fog of reintegration, Gemma and Helena become anchors for each other.

Summary
"There’s a connection there. There’s this moment where I think Helly R. is seeing an outie, having empathy for an outie, maybe for the first time, and seeing this other woman who loves the outie version of the same person that she loves on the inside." -- Britt Lower, on the Severance Season 2 Finale.
--
What if Gemma came back to Lumon with a gun, to take back what's hers?
--
Gemma studies the face before her.
She knows this woman. Knows her from the eight hours—the longest she was ever awake—tracking her through hallways, taking notes, watching her breathe. Knows her from before that, too, from a life she's only now beginning to reassemble: the gala footage, the speech, the daughter of the man who—
Her finger doesn't move toward the trigger.
It would be easy.
Helena Eagan's face. Helena Eagan's body. The architecture of everything that was done to her.
But the eyes.
The eyes are asking for something.

Summary
The muffled voice speaking to her is high and soft and far away, but the shape – a woman, as it turns out – is kneeling beside Helena, leaning down close to her face and clad in a long blue coat with eyes just the same shade.
"Is this Heaven? Have I gone to be with Kier?" Helena slurs. Of course his seraphim wear lab coats.
“No, but I’ll see if that can be arranged,” the woman grumbles.
Or, Helena Eagan is dropped facedown into a Lumon laboratory in January 1999 as critical advances are made in the application of severance chip technology. Helming those advances, to Helena's surprise and consternation, is Harmony Cobel.

Summary
The numbers scared him.
They joked about how some numbers were "scary" but it went unspoken that they also knew that there was great power in the numbers.
These were especially bad, though.
—
After refining The Numbers, Dylan G. receives a mysterious message originating from the Swan station. The refiners, the Others, and Desmond must try to uncover the secret history between Lumon and the DHARMA Initiative. This fic primarily takes place during seasons 1 and 2 of Lost and around the time of season 1 of Severance; however, it has spoilers for the entirety of both shows. Each chapter follows different characters; the structure is a hybrid of both shows, including Lost-style flashbacks.
