Summary
The year is 1780, and spoiled southern boy turned soldier Mon-El is unhappy and dissatisfied with his privileged but empty life. That is, until he meets a girl at his parents’ ball who changes everything. They understand each other perfectly, and with his parents pressuring him to marry, there would be no better match than her—except that they come from wildly different backgrounds. With a heavy heart, Mon-El walks away and takes a wife his family approves of.

He pulled his fingers out of her with an obscenely slick sound and pushed them into her mouth instead, making her lick them clean. “Or do I need to get the gag?” he purred.

Glinda looked like she couldn’t decide between confusion and utter outrage. She crossed her arms. “I don’t know what kind of dreams you’ve been having, dearest, but the press conference is in two hours, so I’d appreciate it very much if you could make yourself presentable!” She stomped out of the room, yanking the door shut behind her.

Summary
His grief is so all-consuming that he does not feel the magical tingle in the air, does not see the shimmering gold swirling around him. He does not notice anything until suddenly, the beast’s body begins to lift underneath him. He falls back out of shock as the beast rises further and further into the air, ribbons of color and light surrounding him. And then things begin to change.
A paw into a hand. Fur into skin. A curved talon into a human foot. A tangled mane into silky hair.
The figure is facing away from him when the transformation ends, raising a hand and staring at it in wonder. The former beast finally turns around and Mon-El’s breath catches.
It is not the prince from the torn-up painting. It is not a man at all.
It is a woman.

Summary
Post Wicked: For Good.
Elphaba and Fiyero's child is a miracle that they never expected. Conceived on that one night in the forest they shared. When they discover he is coming they feel as if a piece of their happily ever after is still possible. Still Elphaba grieves that Fiyero won't ever feel the touch of their child. It feels especially cruel that a man filled with so much love and devotion should be denied what so many take for granted. But love is a magic that knows no constraints and cannot be caged. This is my fix-it happily ever after fic.
