Tony’s never seen Steve act this way, Steve who Tony believed was a Beta with strong Alpha tendencies not too long ago. A hand snaked its way around Steve’s neck, clutching at the few strands of blonde. Tony’s other hand lightly gripped Steve’s chin. “Omega.”

The Super-Soldier Serum changed a lot about Steve Rogers, one thing even Post-Serum stayed the same, shocking all the scientists involved: he's still an Omega. Problem is, that's not something that gets written down in Captain America's files and no one's told the Avengers. While the serum allows him unprecedented control over any omega instincts and his suppressants allow him to skip his heats, AIM managed to get him on the brink of his first heat since emerging from the ice and Tony isn't taking the news well.

Summary
Steve groaned but didn’t turn to the group who were clearly now paying attention to them, instead turning away from the room and into Tony’s shoulder.
“Excuse me?! Stop looking!” Tony waved at them as if they were in the wrong.
“Thor what is in those blunts?!” Sam’s chortles out an incredulous laugh.
Steve finally turned to Thor who shrugged innocently, laughing as Clint just threw his wallet at Natasha.

Unable to enjoy the booze that the Avengers and Shield agents were enjoying on a post-mission celebration, Thor brings Steve an Asgardian drug, lacing it in a couple of blunts for the blonde to try. Tony enjoys the consequences.

Draco can think of only one way to outclass his pleat-front-khaki-wearing politician ex, and that’s by making headlines with an obvious upgrade. And who better to upstage the cheating bastard than the Saviour of the World, Harry Potter himself? Sure, Potter is a little rough around the edges in ripped jeans, a rumpled tartan shirt, and a permanent scowl. Draco reckons a haircut and a shave wouldn’t hurt, either. But Potter is also in need of a Healer willing to keep his secrets, and Draco is just the man for the job. It’s a perfectly reasonable exchange. They need only attend a couple parties arm-in-arm, smile nicely for the paparazzi, and tolerate each other long enough to convince everyone they’re smitten. In return, Draco will keep Potter alive and in one piece.
But it isn’t long before Draco realises he might be in over his head, because Potter is ten tonnes of trouble packed into a leather jacket, and seems keen on hurtling himself towards death on the back of a flying motorbike. And that says nothing of Potter’s penchant for fire-breathing beasts and things that bite.
Ah well, at least they’ll have some fun while it lasts. After all, Draco always did like a bit of danger.

Tony, in the living room, was pouring a scotch even larger than the previous one. “You can’t be Steven Stark,” he snapped, “It’s ridiculous.”
“Why?” Tony refused to look at Steve, but he didn’t need to. Tony could practically hear Steve’s furrowed brow and the serious, concerned look in his eyes.
“Because,” he faltered momentarily, searching for a sane argument. He found one, sort of, “because it’s alliterative! I mean, who outside of Big Bird has two of the same initial?”
“Tony,” Steve placed a hand on the small of Tony’s back, “what’s wrong? Really?”
“I’m sorry, but famed Nazi-fighter Captain America cannot have the initials ‘S.S.’ That’s a branding problem if I’ve ever heard one. You’re gonna have to stay Steve Rogers,” Tony was babbling, he knew.
“Tony,” Steve interrupted, “I won’t do it if you don’t want me to. And you clearly don’t want me to.”

Summary
Tony and Steve have been secretly sleeping together for almost two years, before Steve has had enough of it. He knows Tony cares for him, but he won't admit it. So, he threatens to leave...and Steve is nothing if not a man of his word. He didn't know he'd get in an accident. And he definitely didn't realize how much Tony loved him.
[or: Steve is met with a choice to either hang on or let go when he gets into a horrific accident, and he chooses to let go. His angel shows him the repercussions of this decisions so he knows what he'd be leaving behind. It wasn't what he expected in the slightest.]
