This isn’t precisely what Tommy thought his life would be like but hey, it could be worse.
He didn’t know what worse would be, (he was pretty sure he had arrived at rock bottom), but he was alive and that was something.
Was the bar low? Maybe. At least it makes it easier to jump over.-----------
Tommy is just a hardworking guy trying to make ends meet which became especially difficult after his roommate lost his job. Life had never been kind to him though and when he gets accidentally mixed up in something he shouldn't, desperation pushes him to make a deal he shouldn't have.

Summary
Tommy risked a glance back—
A shadow stood at the end of the hall.
Something tall. Twisted. Its face—or lack of one—was obscured by darkness, but its limbs stretched impossibly long, fingers dragging along the walls as it took a single step forward.
Not fast.
Not rushing.
It didn’t have to.
The shadow's form flickered, and for a brief moment, Tommy saw something else. Pink hair. A crown of bones. A bored expression glinting with something darker.
The air seemed to scream as every door in the hallway slammed shut in unison.

OR: Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, and Purpled jump at the chance to earn easy money. All they have to do is last the night in a rusty old “haunted” mansion, then they can rub it in Punz’s smug face.
They should’ve taken the cold breezes and shadows that move as more than just creepy vibes.

Technoblade takes a step closer “Do you really want to know that, Tommy?” his voice is dangerously low.
Now, Tommy considers himself pretty tall, being 6’3, but his ‘brother’ towers over him anyway, so Tommy falters.
The teen scowls and turns away, arms crossed, “Why are you even gracing me with your presence anyway?”, He mocks, trying to change the subject.
“It’s imperative that you do not leave, Tommy” The pink-haired man says, obviously not falling for it.
“Fine, I won't.” the blonde huffs
That was a lie, but Technoblade didn’t know that
Or; I Reversed the plot of Vigilante!Tommy fics and now you have to suffer the consequences

Summary
Tommy innit is just your average teen who wanted to pay his rent and save people at the same time, so it might've not been his greatest idea to apply as an intern for the SBI at the Heroes' Tower given the risk that he could get arrested at any time for being the winged vigilante known as Theseus, and everyone in L'manburg knows that vigilantism is illegal.
but hey, the rent's gotta get paid somehow and his last job sort of blew up. he quickly becomes not only close with SBI, but the rest of the heroes as well and soon finds out that Working at the tower not only made him new friends but somehow ….a family?Keeping he and his friends' identities a secret may have just gotten a lot harder.
Just your average vigilante Tommy fic with some SBI found family sprinkled in and a shit ton of angst and fluff.
