Summary
Moonlight lit up a darkened apartment. He blinked stinging tears out of his eyes. He couldn't recognise anything in the dim lights coming from the streets far, far below. Before he could do anything else, before he could even really take in where he was, a lamp flicked on and a gun was aimed at him.
A man with a metal arm stood wielding it with an ice cold expression on his face. “Who the hell are you?” he rasped, voice cold.
Jason shifted, blinking when he moved out of the shadows and into the light.
“Jason?” The man's gun dropped to his side. “Is that blood?”
“Buck, what's going on?” A boy emerged from the hallway, wearing red pajamas covered in multicolored books, and wiping his eyes like he'd just woken up. “What was that noise?”
Jason gasped when the boy pulled his hands from his face.
It was him. Little him. Tiny him.
He blinked but the kid was still there. This couldn’t be real — it had to be some type of dying dream. A hallucination, or coma.
“Buck?” Little him asked again, voice wobbling as his eyes darted between the two of them. “Is that me?”
Jason decided that this was a good time to pass out.

Jason gets adopted by the gods and shenanigans ensue. (Everyone in the Batfam is trying their best, but some of them are more successful than others.) While Jay is our MC, this fic explores different POVs of the batfam throughout. Lots of healing but also Jason is not gonna stop killing people (because that's like a core part of his character fight me about it)

Summary
The first time Jason had died at the Joker’s hands, had ironically been an accident.
Jason laughed, wet and cold and detached and bordering on demented. Maybe bleeding out on accident would be better slightly than the Joker killing him, maybe there was some autonomy there, not as much freedom as dying with his own hands would bring but maybe enough that he could be satisfied to die like this.
He felt a sensation he could only describe as the last of his blood leaving his lungs with it an intense gasp for breath. Then all of the darkness surrounding him became a blinding white light. And Jason’s consciousness returned to the land of the living.
Or: While being tortured by the Joker, Jason Todd discovers he has the power or curse of resurrection. After his months of torment, he learns to live with his power and trauma in turn, and of course, he takes it upon himself to raise Damian, because he didn't have enough on his plate already.
