Summary
Chris Smith is good at finding ways to numb the pain. Sex, alcohol, drugs, fights. Usually, it works. But since getting back from Earth X, he was just carrying too much grief. His brother dying again, his dad dying again. And it was his fault. He had gotten them killed, again. His tricks weren’t working anymore. He was feeling more and more numb, can’t move through the day without a fix. Reality just hurts too much.
Vigilante is ruthless. He may be clueless, but he isn't stupid. If he found Chris trying to buy drugs, he would probably kill him. But Chris thinks he might die anyway without access to something to ease his pain. So he has to do something anyway. He has to trick Adrian, whatever way he can. Maybe it doesn't matter that he knows it's wrong.

Summary
“Can’t—” Tim gasped, thrashing under the hold. “Hurts, Kon. Please, it’s not—it’s not enough.”
Kon’s jaw flexed. He looked at Tim like he was fighting something inside himself, torn between restraint and pure want. Then, with a slow exhale, he slid Tim’s gloves off, tossing them aside, and replaced Tim’s own hand with his own, shoving it into Tim’s pants
The sound Tim made was raw, guttural, pulled from someplace deep. His body arched off the bed, eyes squeezing shut as Kon stroked him with an easy, firm rhythm.
“Shhh,” Kon murmured, leaning closer, his free hand braced against the sheets near Tim’s head. “I’ve got you, Rob. Just breathe. Let me take care of it.”

Summary
Kon landed lightly outside his apartment, heart pounding so loud it almost drowned out the hum of the city behind him. The second he was inside, he locked the door, kicked off his shoes without thinking, and bee-lined to the bathroom.
The pregnancy test burned in the inside pocket of his jacket the whole way.
He yanked it out, ripped the wrapper open with shaking fingers, and—ignoring the thousand instincts screaming at him to wait—followed the directions mechanically, hands trembling so bad he almost dropped it.
Then he set it down on the counter.
And waited.
He paced.
Back and forth, back and forth across the bathroom tiles, arms folded tight across his chest. He could hear the second hand on his cheap wall clock ticking—too loud, like it was hammering into his skull.
He was Kryptonian. Or part Kryptonian. He wasn’t even sure if human-designed tests would work.
But Tim had helped them factor in enough hybrid biology when they worked on the meds—maybe it would.
When he finally forced himself to look down at the tiny plastic stick, the world tilted sideways.
Two sharp pink lines.
Positive.
