Summary
In the corner of his peripheral vision he can see a blurry figure limp towards him. Eddie flinches, trying to scoot away and bumping into Billy's still-sleeping form. The figure comes closer, and Eddie bares his teeth like an animal, because it's all he can do.
He blinks again, expecting to see a twisted humanoid figure, and is instead met with the judgmental look of what seems to be a teen boy. Except the boy looks like he's lived a thousand years, a mess of brown hair tied up into a ponytail, a bloodied rag tied around his left eye. Eddie doesn't miss the way he seems to support all his weight on his right leg.

An AU where Will Byers is never found and is assumed dead. Five years later, Billy Hargrove and Eddie Munson find themselves trapped in the Upside Down, but are taken in by a teen who calls himself "Rex", and has the ability to manipulate the creatures in the Upside Down at will. Together, the three make a plan to escape.

Summary
