Fushimi’s eyes widened. He’d heard the rumours, of course, that the wielders were all Omegas. But that was all he’d ever took them to be. Rumours. He thought it was just a part of the legend – swordsmen capable of wielding such incredible weapons would be rare, and this was just a way to make them seem even more so. It wasn’t like this kind of thing was public information.
“That’s true, too?” he asked. “The wielders, they’re—they’re all Omegas?”
“They are,” Azami said. “You know, I never did know how that rumour became so widespread.”
Fushimi shrugged. “Makes things a little more interesting?”
Or - Fushimi is a Beta, sent to be a bodyguard for Uruha, an Omega. When he begins to develop feelings for him and Uruha goes into heat, Fushimi realises that he might not be what he thought he was after all.
