The blonde woman nodded and pulled off a loop of rope from her waist. Atsushi was confused that the other man wasn’t following the command as well before he realized that he was now gazing straight at Atsushi.
Atsushi swallowed as the man took a step towards him and raised his sword to point at his neck. The red-tinted blade stopped a few centimeters from his throat. The black-haired man looked him up and down for a long moment before he glanced at Chuuya.

He heard little to no commotion in the kitchen where their small dining room table was. The legs of the chair dragging on the floor in a loud screech made Hitoshi cringe and caused his ears to ring in agony at such a loud noise in a quiet apartment.
Hitoshi stalked closer; his footsteps quiet and hardly audible. Denki sat, his back turned while he stuffed sickeningly sweet cereal in his mouth while he scrolled on his phone, not even aware of the man who came closer with each step he took until he was right behind the chair the blond sat upon.
He looked down at Denki. He seemed so small from this view, though Hitoshi loomed over him even when the two stood hip to hip. He snaked his arms around his lover's shoulders from over the chair, feeling the blond man flinch from the sudden touch. Denki swallowed hard on a bite of his cereal, which was now soggy and gross from the looks of it.

“‘First rule of spy school: Don’t get distracted, because distractions get you killed’,” Dazai reads. He puts his fingers under his chin and leans in until his nose almost touches the board. “I like the hearts around ‘distractions’. And the purple blood dripping from ‘kill’— it really adds gravitas to the whole thing.”
He looks over his shoulder and grins, and Chuuya suddenly decides cute boys shouldn’t be allowed to grin like that, because a smile that pretty could be classified a lethal weapon in at least twelve countries.Chuuya goes to spy school; Dazai is his distraction.

Moving onto a new life and losing all other memories of any prior, meant that no pain or sense of longing for all that they would miss would carry on as well, when they wouldn’t have anything to remember to miss. But that was just it, Mori didn’t want to forget Fukuzawa, would rather spend an infinity after him reminiscing about them, than to ever have it all erased from his memories. Fukuzawa had already left a mark on his heart, imprinted and engraved irrevocably, that it should have been an impossibility for it ever to be forgotten. And an impossibility is what they made it.
