Summary
Stede is out like a light as soon as he and Ed curl up in bed, sweaty and achy and content, but Ed’s taking a little longer to drift off. Even though he’s exhausted, he’s not in a rush to fall asleep. It’s nice to bask, just for a bit, in the heat of Stede’s body pressed flush against his front, in idly kissing the back of his neck and shoulders, in their hands firmly intertwined over Stede’s heart. The handcuff around Stede’s wrist suddenly pops open and Ed very carefully closes it again. They can take them off tomorrow.
Ed and Stede are handcuffed together at Pride. Ah well, guess they'll have to be stuck together forever now!

Summary
And his freckles, Ed thinks with increasing delirium as Stede starts approaching him and he zeroes in on the exposed skin where his top has slipped off his shoulder slightly. Is it legal, to show off such a tantalising stretch of freckled collar bone? Fucking obscene, that. Maybe Stede should be arrested. And his punishment? Ed gets to bite him, right there where his neck meets his shoulder, all pink and delectable.
Ed really wants to bite him.

“Lucius!” Stede yelps as Ed processes that fun little piece of information. “I tell you these things in confidence, you know! Really, what sort of impression of me are you trying to make Ed have? I don’t go on that much–”
At his first ballet society social, the pressure in on for Ed to get Stede's friends to like him. Luckily, one conversation with Lucius throws all tension (and hinges) out of the window.

Ed has never felt nervous around a guy before. It’s a novelty and a frustration all in one, this fluttery feeling in his chest whenever he so much as looks at him. He feels like he’s thirteen rather than twenty three, mooning over his crush and fantasising about increasingly wild scenarios whenever he gazes longingly across the skate park. They aren’t even all sexy fantasies! Like, yeah, he has a lot of thoughts that involve those gorgeous legs wrapped around his head, but he’s also planned out their wedding and honeymoon, so the sexy ones are probably the least of his concerns.
Ed has been making eyes at Pretty Ballet Boy across the skate park every morning for weeks. How the hell is he supposed to talk to someone that beautiful?

Dear Ed,
I miss you.
Simple words, these ones. And yet I've never known any as heavy, laden as they are, with truth, and guilt. They stay within me, at all times. I feel them in my broken bones, in my seizing muscles, in my aching heart. They torment me, and refuse to be ignored.
Stede wanted to return to Ed. He got in his dinghy, full of love and full of hope. But sometimes, things don't go as planned.
