Summary
Finn’s experience with his first pet, Cameron, makes him confident that the second go-around will be just as easy. Penelope is gorgeous, with sweet floppy ears, but what catches Finn’s attention—and Cameron’s—are her sad, sunken eyes.
Neither of them know it yet, but this dog/human hybrid is about to give Finn a run for his money. From her obvious trauma to her catlike tendencies, he isn’t sure if he’s equipped to break down her walls. And as she begins emerging from her shell, he realizes that having a second pup isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Especially when Cameron decides that he might not like her, after all.
Can the three overcome Penelope’s stubbornness, Cameron’s jealousy, and Finn’s lack of expertise? Or is Penelope too much for the boys to handle?
