Mika’s panicked eyes kept flittering from meeting Shu’s to staring down at his lap. Tentatively, Shu peered over their small table to get a view of what Mika was hiding.

Summary
Mika looks happy. Extremely so. He’s surrounded by friends and acquaintances, and Nazuna can see the slightest flush on his face at all the attention. It’s clear that he’s gotten a lot better at handling all this affection and focus. Nazuna’s been watching him since he’s come in, basically, and he doesn’t think he’s seen him go more than five seconds without being greeted by someone. It makes Nazuna’s chest feel warm, a funny but not unfamiliar feeling that he’s content to bask in in the background.
