Aether gape at Albedo first before he burst out laughing endearingly. Hugging Albedo tightly. “Sure. Can’t wait.”
If there is something Aether is thankful for… it was the fact that he survived those years with Albedo by his side. He truly never feels lonely.

Their gazes locked—smoldering. The tension between them snapped taut, breath to breath.
“I could help you unwind,” Aether offered, voice low, teasing, the faintest thread of sincerity curling beneath it.
Finally, Alhaitham shut the book with a quiet thud. “You’re already a distraction. You don’t need to offer more.”
Aether didn’t move. “But you like distractions.”
Alhaitham’s chair creaked as he stood, towering slightly over him—broad, composed, with an intensity that smoldered behind his usual aloofness. He reached up, brushing a damp lock of hair from Aether’s cheek, his fingers trailing just a bit too long across warm skin.
“I like useful ones.”
Aether’s lashes dipped, his voice dropping with them. “Then use me.”
or, Aether ended up being a pleasing (and tiring) distraction for Alhaitham.

Aether rarely took interest in the lustful humans of Teyvat, but then a vengeful spirit curses Aether with the power of fatal attraction. Two rules of the curse become quickly and painfully clear:
1. Anyone who touches Aether becomes consumed by an irresistible lust.
2. Denying that lust results in an untimely death.Devastated and broken by his first cursed encounter in Mondstat, Aether's journey through Teyvat spirals into darkness as he tries to find a cure to this fuck-or-die curse. Along the way, he finds both evil and kindness in the hearts of others.
Chapter Four Excerpt:
"Don't touch me," Aether spat, his face turning tomato red.
Childe crossed his arms over his chest and sighed.
"So selfish - you'd rather let me die than let me fuck you?" asked Childe with a mocking frown.
Aether didn't respond. Perhaps he felt a shred of guilt that Childe was cursed now because of him - but it just wasn't enough to make Aether sacrifice his body and his soul.
"You're the one who punched me," murmured Childe as he traced a finger down Aether's abdomen, "You started this, so it seems like you have an obligation to see it through."
