Grace choked for the second time. He really should learn to stop sipping around Rocky. Simon froze in place, glaring over his shoulder at Rocky. And then at Grace, for taking too long to say no.
“No way in hell,” Simon finally answered, eyes narrowed.
“Is for science!” Rocky repeated, like that was supposed to mean something.
OR: Eridians have no concept of casual sex. Rocky walks in on Simon and Grace, and wants to learn more. Y'know, for science!

Grace woke up just like any other day.
Okay, maybe not like every other day, but pretty much like normal. He was disoriented as all heck, and it seemed to still be dark out. He checked the clock on his nightstand. About 4 am. Oh well, best get an early start, no?
He had trouble remembering his name for a little bit, but he got to it in a decent amount of time. He must have drunk himself under the counter last night if he was this, what, groggy? What did he even do last night? His neck was sore something awful, and his wrist stung. He probably slept on them wrong.

Freshly Turned Vampire Grace gets three attempts on his life within a few months, and the first (second) attempted killer ends up his boyfriend. Oops?

Summary
An Eridian mining crew find a human welded into a stranded ship on the surface of a moon. They bring him back to Erid, to the only other human they know.
Something in Grace's chest flickered into life. He had buried it so long ago that he hardly knew what it was anymore, and so he took off his glasses and cleaned them on the edge of his cardigan, as if Rocky's words were a smudge he could clear away before finding the will to hope.
“Ah…” his words failed halfway out of his mouth. Rocky chittered at him, a little sound of encouragement. “There’s another human? Here. And… alive?”
