Jason Todd is dead. There's no body. There's no justice. No closure. The only remnant of Jason is an empty casket buried six feet below the ground and an elegant tombstone. It looked like a Wayne family tragedy to an outsider, just one of many.
Vivian isn't a hero anymore. She's not entirely sure what she is. Calling herself a civilian would be a blatant lie and labeling herself a villain would give her too much credit. Work as a mercenary isn't pretty or easy. It isn't as glamorous as being one of Batman's sidekicks and you don't get nearly as much recognition, but it keeps a roof over her head and her fridge full. But most importantly, it keeps her far away from Batman and by extension, Robin.
When a mysterious newcomer steals millions of dollars from Bruce Wayne, Vivian can't help but reopen old wounds. Who he is or why he's come to her is a mystery to her. All she knows is that the Arkham Knight could finally provide her with the closure she desperately needs.

Ultimately, she decides to stow those thoughts away for now, saving them for when you’re back home with her. It’d be easy to go overboard now, with the adrenaline and anger rushing through her bloodstream. For now, she just wants to make you cry.
