Summary
"What are you doing here?" Adora says, crossing her arms and giving a pointed stare at the newest member of the table.
"Who? Me?" Catra responds nonchalantly, placing her arm around Mermista's shoulders.
"No, I'm talking to Mermista, my friend, who rode here with me. YES! Obviously I'm asking you dickwad. So, what the fuck are you doing here at my table?" Adora replies, standing up straighter at first, but ends up with her hands planted on the table and leaning towards Catra on the other side. Catra scoffs.
"Damn princess, didn't realize you owned the fucking joint. And obviously, my girl Mermista here and I had to discuss the new Mermystery books we are reading in our book club right now. Sorry you weren't included in the decision to have my presence around," Catra says. Their faces end up just inches apart and Adora can't help herself from glancing down at Catra's mouth and getting distracted by how her lips move.
Or the one where Catra is in love with her lab partner, Adora and everyone else is uncomfortable in their sexual tension. Based off of the song Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat by Del Water Gap.

"Nicole wait!" Waverly says as she grabs onto my sleeve. I whip around and she bumps into me. "Waverly, I think you're worth fighting for. Do you really think Champ feels the same?" I say to her. I can tell she wasn't expecting that and her eyebrows shoot to her hairline.
"You mean everything to me. You, Wynonna, and my car. That's all I have and it is All. I. Care. About. I know it's not as simple as you wanting to be with me. I know it's not simple, but it's got to be better than being slimed on by that trashbag." I can feel the anger dissipating as the tears arrive. My voice is getting desperate and I try to squash it down. Waverly's eyes swim and it hurts to look at her. I take her hands in mine.
"We can figure it out. We can do anything when we are together. I'll always fight for you." I say staring at Waverly's hands in mine. I raise my eyes to hers and she opens her mouth to respond, my whole heart open for her to destroy.
"Nicole 'MY NECK, MY BACK, MY PUS-"
I wake up with a start. The memory of my last conversation with Waverly before I left for California has been in my dreams for the past week. Always a different ending since I never did get my answer.

Nicole is seeing her favorite artist, King Princess, perform for the 30th time. Her girlfriend, Shae, is with her and not enjoying herself. Nicole is really getting tired of Shae's mood swings ruining fun nights for her. Maybe she needs a change.
Waverly is, yet again, dragged to a concert of an artist she has no clue about by her friends, Rosita and Jeremy. She knows they only want the best for her, but she really just wanted a quiet night with her books and tea. She wants nothing more than to go home. Especially after an intriguing red head runs into her and spills her drink all down her front. Could this night get any worse?
