Yeonjun’s childhood tasted like saltwater dreams – youthful laughter and victorious battles in the spray of waves hugging his ankles like a good-willed friend and the sweet return to a safe home on dry land afterwards. But above all, it was the blinding sparkle of Soobin’s eyes, brighter than sunlight glistening on the surface of the deep sea, that pulled him away from safe grounds.
With Yeonjun’s tongue heavy with only his own blood and his love ripped away from him, the present couldn't be any more different.
But the pirates holding him captive were mistaken if they thought that he was going down that easily.

Summary
It shouldn’t be a big deal – it isn’t a big deal.
Some people don’t have table manners, that’s just how it is, and Soobin has never been keen on the squelch of food in someone else’s mouth as long as he doesn’t have anything between his teeth to distract himself from the noise. Soobin is just annoyed and queasy, even if his body doesn’t know better than to interpret the context otherwise.
Or, in which Yeonjun always moans a little too loudly while eating and it’s becoming a problem (for Soobin)

Summary
Yeonjun saw it on the ground at Soobin's feet. A flower as tiny as his pinky phalanx, red petals all smeared with blood and tomato sauce. Small and crumpled, it was hard to make out what it was, but Yeonjun recognized it instantly —the irrefutable doom of longing crawling through Soobin’s bones. Camelia. A deep, one-sided love that gnawed at his guts.
Or, Soobin grows flowers for Yeonjun.

If Seoho’s life was a building, it would be a castle hastily carved out of a mountain cliffside and then promptly abandoned to the whims of the winds. There just seemed to be something rough, something clumsy about him that didn't invite anyone to linger.
It was only when he stumbled upon a mysterious marble statue during his nightly studies that his understanding of reality cracked open.
Because the statue in the attic wasn't supposed to spring to life – it wasn't supposed to turn into a pretty boy with a sharp wit, a heart of gold, and a terrible curse.

With his daughter’s performance at her preschool’s holiday pageant fast approaching, Soobin has only a couple hours left to save what is left of her reindeer costume after it was mistaken for an early Christmas present to chew on.
Being all thumbs and left feet, Soobin is everything but well equipped to deal with this kind of holiday disaster. But maybe Santa is finally gracing him with some luck this time, because stumbling into Yeonjun must be some kind of magic — and between DIY fabric stars, golden glitter touches, and sparkling smiles, this crisis turns out to be a small Christmas wonder after all.

Yeonjun turned around – headed back towards his apartment, eager to crawl underneath the covers and torture himself with every wrong phrase he had voiced today – but was stopped, “Yeonjun, wait.”
And Yeonjun did because he was this stupid moth that would never turn away willingly from its light.
or: Last christmas, hearts were broken. This year, to save himself from tears, Yeonjun offers it back to Soobin with shaking hands in hopes for a better winter to reflect on both of their faces under the blinking festive lights.

“Oh, I definitely thought it realistic that you would find a way to mess it up,” Beomgyu chuckled as he untied his shoelaces to get back into the comfortable nest that had become the passenger seat.

Summary
Nothing is permanent, Soobin knows from the push and pull of the tides he has witnessed growing up. He also knows that some things are just out of his control, like the inevitable decline of his income as a surf shop owner whenever the seasons change and that the only thing he can do about it is to say goodbye to the sea and wait for the next summer to come.
Experienced with all sorts of waves, he shouldn't feel as breathless as he does when popstar Taehyun crashes into his shore for a photoshoot — breathless from laughter, obviously, because Taehyun just can't seem to figure out how to stay afloat on a surfboard, no other reasons...

Soobin was attractive, nothing less than striking, maybe even more so than when touches of youth had still framed his face when they had last seen each other - or it was just Yeonjun for once not dismissing the hard reality of how Soobin was still affecting him. And yet It was all so achingly familiar, so achingly lost and everything Yeonjun had dreamed to feel again.
"I had no idea you lived here," Soobin spoke, thrilled nerves still clear in his eyes.
"Yeah, it's been a few years." Yeonjun tried not to lean too far into the warmth of his voice and the wish to hang in this space for too long, as though they were two old friends who had drifted apart, now picking up from where they had left off, as though people and lives didn't change over time.
Oh, and how their lives had changed.
or: Yeonjun thinks he and his friends have found a way to fit into the general scheme of things without drawing dangerous attention. Until a new opportunity falls into their hands - one that not only makes past feelings resurface.

Summary
The moment the man to his left had stated his punishment, Seoho came to the realisation that having a giant blade sunder his head from his neck in front of a sanguinary crowd or even having these exact ruthless people watch him struggle as the noose slowly tightened around his neck weren't the worst options to choose from (not that his sentiment had the slightest influence.)
In fact, death was the closest to mercy that he could have begged for.
or: Seoho is an outlaw, running for his life, hiding with no one to trust. Until two lost souls meet.

Their relationship was beautiful, both of them so in love with each other. Looking back, coming to terms with their feelings and confessing to each other appeared such an easy thing to do. That being true until Hwanwoong broke up with Youngjo. A few weeks after that, he moved out of town. Everything about it seemed so wrong, as disappearing out of his friends and ex-boyfriends' lives without a proper explanation, hardly letting them know even, was such an unusual and unexpected thing for Hwanwoong to do.
One day, approximately half a year after Hwanwoong had seemingly vanished, Youngjo expected everything but to run into his ex-boyfriend, his air being a mere shadow of what Youngjo used to know, and despite Hwanwoong's attempts at pushing him away, he is determined not to let him get away with whatever he was trying to do. Not this time.
