It’s strangely exhilarating, imagining himself on his knees in front of Luffy, blindfolded. Like he really is getting executed this time. All of Zoro’s senses stand at attention and his mouth fills with saliva.
The flat of Kitetsu’s blade presses cold against Zoro’s cheek. “Zoro,” Luffy scolds. “I haven’t even done anything yet.”

It wasn’t anything special. Just lips against lips, quick and simple and easy and something in the back of Zoro’s mind tells him that kissing Luffy shouldn’t be this easy. But it is, so he does. He kisses him longer than two friends beneath mistletoe probably should, and when this finally occurs to him and Zoro pulls himself from Luffy, he feels his captain’s fingertips drag across his skin. As if Luffy was trying to find purchase, to gain a grip and keep Zoro close, but to no avail.
