Jesus Christ, Regect has had enough of talking in circles with this guy. He isn’t surprised; this is how a good ninety-percent of his conversations with Z culminate. “Uh, because you’re an idiot and forgot to shut your door? Why else?”
Z looks like he’s bitten into a lemon for a moment. Regect almost laughs until he spots how tightly Z’s hands are clenched at his sides, a nervous tic of his. They’re supposed to be angry at each other, aren’t they? “I thought you were going to come in,” confesses Z in the world’s smallest voice.

“ZE OH MY GOD, ZE!!” A sudden shout is quick to break the silence, because of course it does, “I know you said you were napping or whatever but you’re not going to believe.. OH MY GOD?!“ Z was about to shout at the entity to fuck off, to let himself fall against the sorted blankets and pass out, but when he turns a panicked squawk immediately leaves his throat.
Because instead of seeing the closed door he thought he locked.. it’s wide open.
Regect standing in that opened space.

Staring at his wings.

“…Ze?” The entity’s voice sounds out again, but quieter this time, more cautious, “How did.. holy shit.. are those wings?!”

When Z was younger, he was taught that his wings were a terrible thing to have, so he hid them away! Never telling a soul about them, not even Regect or Moe! While at least until Regect walks in on him being shirtless…

One upside was being able to TALK about what had happened in the Down Under. What he didn’t expect is that he said it all to ReGect; the entity, let alone person, he hated most. He often thought to himself on why he had told ReGect. He didn’t deserve to have Ze open up to him! He didn’t want to be vulnerable around that douchebag!
At the same time though, he didn’t feel as much hate as he normally would’ve done. It was a weird feeling that he couldn’t explain. He actually LIKED the memory, even if he had been very abrasive at the time. He’d feel his cheeks become warmer, his chest tighten, and his wings tense when the thought came across his mind. It was weird.
And it didn’t end there. Ever since that talk, he couldn’t talk or think about ReGect normally anymore (which was wishing death upon him and utter hatred), and the feelings appeared again and again.
Or
Ze’s been distant after everything, and Moe and ReGect bring him to a flower field. Along the way, Ze learns he’s gay for ReGect.
Takes place a few weeks after Relocateisode.
