Adrien has mastered the art of the smile. Even while his mind is on poor behavior, when he's caught beneath a barrage of unkind thoughts to himself, he's still able to keep his smile. Attend his friends' parties, maintain small talk, get through the day — and hopefully his friends won't realize how messed up he really is.
Everyone is out-pacing him. While he's barely getting out of bed in the morning, his friends are making waves, changing lives, getting engaged.

He doesn't mind the loud stand tunes, or the silly dances and chants that are reserved specifically for the band, or the chaotic atmosphere as they prepare for the halftime show, or even those rare events where Will ends up being genuinely invested in the game.
Which is why it never fails to amaze Will when his boyfriend is always a few minutes late to every single game without fail.

“You’re nutty,” Will says, physically shaking the worries from his head.
“Maybe so,” Mike says, “but it worked.”

And living life is hard. Especially when you're doing it all on your own. But grief and love are a lot more similar than you might realise. They both tend to wake us up from the monotony of our lives.

When Sirius moves out, Regulus Black thinks that maybe James Potter will finally be out of his life too.
Good. Competition season is coming up, and it'll be his first year at the junior level. As the upcoming skating star of the Black family, Regulus can't afford to lose–and the absolute last thing he needs is a hockey player to mess everything up for him. All he needs is for James to stay out of his way, and he'll be good as gold.
James doesn't stay out of his way. And Regulus has a long way to go before he can even think about bearing a medal around his neck.
