    Summary

He wakes up on a bed.

Beds are completely normal places to wake up in.

The mark he had made on the piece of paper he placed beside his bed was not there. The piece of paper itself had returned to the stack in the drawer of his desk, the pen untouched.

He took both out of the drawer.

Time loop? He crossed it out.

Toxin? He crossed that out too.

Magic? He circled Magic because it was still the most likely culprit.

Jason’s farts had sent Tim spiralling so far into his own mind that he made a whole separate universe within his own head? He circled that one too because you never know.

    Summary

“You can get your revenge on me all you like later,” Blue promised with yet another damn chuckle. “But for now it’s for the best, you’re incredibly dehydrated.”

    Dehydrated.

    Really.

He was in the back of an ambulance with three strangers, one of which was acting like they somehow knew him, simply because he was dehydrated. Blue had mentioned that he had been hurt, though despite all the oxygen masks and the IV lines Tim hadn’t really registered any bandages being applied, or in fact any blood at all.

Maybe that was why Blue had called him Red? Was he covered in blood?

No, but the fabric he was wearing was weird feeling. The sleeve had been cut to allow for the IV and now that Tim was looking at it, he found the weave to be very interesting. It wasn’t just a cotton shirt he was wearing, but a black and red suit that was almost like-

    “Red?”

    Tim hummed.

    “Red, you still with me?”

    Summary

“Epilepsy.” Tim breathed. He was already shaking his head. “But I feel fine.”

“You’re fine now,” Bruce said, his hand on Tim’s knee. “Because of the medications that you have been put on. They are helping to regulate your body, keeping inappropriate electrical impulses at a minimum.”

“Inappropriate electrical impulses.” Tim said. “Really Bruce, I’m not a child.”

“A normal child wouldn’t have understood what I just said.” Bruce countered.

    Tim blinked. Then, again.

“I would have.” Tim finally said.

What Tim can't be is broken.

He can't possibly bring shame to the Drake name and the Wayne family. He can't possibly have epilepsy, because he is meant to be better than that, he needs to be better than that.

    Summary

Tim smiled wide in response. Brushing off whatever the hell happened. Nothing happened. He was exaggerating. As usual. It’s all in his head.

OR once Damian’s trauma metaphorically opens the tap for Tim, memories start coming to him in flashes. Memories that aren’t his. At least… he doesn’t remember them. Nothing really happened, right? If he can’t remember it, then it couldn’t have happened.

This is apart of “A Father’s Love: Conditional or Unconditional?” Revolving around Tim and his own journey towards recovery.
