Summary
Phil Lester goes back to university for his third year, expecting to live in the dorms with his childhood best friend PJ. That's how it's been for the past years, after all. However, due to a mistake of some sort, he finds himself with a new roommate to spend the semester with.
Daniel Howell, three years his junior, has rich brown eyes, a laptop to hide them behind, and not more than two words to spare in Phil's direction. Phil is no fortune teller, but he foresees the upcoming months will be filled with a whole lot of awkward silence.Unless, of course, Dan proves him wrong...
Could one little mistake lead to something entirely life-changing? Perhaps it could. After all, nearly everything changes when Phil meets Dan.-
Excerpt: Dan's hair is soft against Phil's cheek, and his presence - gentle against his heart.

"Wow. this might be the worst movie I have ever seen, oh my God."
"It's my favorite movie ever. Now, I think we should breed and ask our child what they think."
Wilson's eyebrows reached his hairline.
"What did you just say to me?"
House just laughed like a maniac. Wilson clicked his tongue, not bothering to hide his chuckle. At the time he thought his friend's joke was funny. Now, it just felt like an omen of some sort.

Child Protective Services appears on House's doorstep with a nine-year-old boy they claim to be his son. As always, Wilson gets stuck in the middle.

Summary
Neil tries to run out but the once wide, open door is replaced by a wall of person. His full body slams into this stranger because of how fast he was moving and how little he was paying attention, which winds up with them both on the floor. Neil recovers quickly and is on his feet in a split second. The distractingly attractive stranger with dirty blonde hair and striking blue eyes looks incredibly disoriented, and reasonably so, as to why they are on the floor.
Or What starts as a chance meeting due to the chaos of Neil Perry leads to the development of relationships that leave them wondering how they ever survived without the other before.

Summary
“They can’t know. No one can ever know.”
Just two boys battling their inner demons, eventually finding solace in one another.
A story of the pressure of expectation, of friendships deeper than blood, and of the kind of love that saves you… just slowly.
A slow-burn fix-it fic, full of introspection and multiple POVs from friends and foe alike.
Mostly canon-compliant… until it isn’t of course.
Title from Walt Whitman’s “To You”.
