Summary
A whacky re-telling of the main storyline of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, roughly projected onto the setting of Garden of Eden.
I drafted few disconnected scenes while wondering whether Adam Jensen was loosely based on biblical Adam, and what implications this similarity may have for the plot and other characters, and then decided - to hell with it, and wrote the whole thing.Location:
Garden of EdenCharacters:
Adam Jensen is, of course, Adam.
Francis Pritchard is the Snake, a nod to his handle Nucl3arsnake.
Faridah Malik is a swift. She piloted a bird, now she is a bird.
And many other amusing transformations...Apples are a metaphor for augmentation. A metaphor? A substitute? Anyway.
My proudest writing achievement in this fic is a whole page of aerial bird combat.
Despite being a crack fic, it also has some profound moments, because I just can’t help myself. It is firmly in a "Crack Treated Seriously" territory.Disclaimer: My knowledge of biblical lore is limited to children's picture bible many years ago. Adam, Eve, apples. There was a snake. I mean, it works.

Summary
Continuing from where my other Jensen/Koller fanfic, The Chair, ends.
The Chair was an almost platonic work, and can be read as complete, while this one gets progressively steamy (non-explicit and somewhat... alternative), most definitely romantic, and might go on for as long as I come up with new ideas, therefore I decided to keep these chapters separately. There's no specific plot in mind, it's mostly developing relationship, the characters slowly getting to know each other in deeply personal ways. The proportion of sweetness to angst tilts majorly towards sweetness. Koller is probably aspec, but there's no hard labels thrown, people are simply who they are, somewhat outside of societal constraints or categories.
Can be read at current state. New chapters, when they come, merely expand on what's already there.
Always might write more. -

"Embracing what you've became" is not as positive as it may sound.
In this short fanfic, Václav Koller gets an exciting delivery, and Adam Jensen works through some long repressed augmentation angst. -

Summary
Multi-chapter exploration of Jensen's character through a lens of developing relationship with an OC Eli Wessel, with multiple PoVs and occasional unreliable narration. Mostly internal thoughts and dialogues, character-focused slice of life rather than action. Small amount of erotic content, and no explicit stuff.
Basically, Jensen works through variety of hung ups including ever-present augmentation angst, unwrapping of bisexuality, paranoia and trust issues, and just general depression and loneliness. Classic Jensen.
Eli has similarities and differences with Jensen, coming to a similar place in life from a very different direction.
Alex Vega is there to observe and eat popcorn.I am not done with it.

Summary
This is my short creative take on Adam Jensen’s character development through his childhood, adolescence, and adult years, all the way up to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
It is based on the information about his past available in the games and accompanying official media.
The interpretation is my own, and is supposed to be completely lore-friendly. -

Summary
A short monologue by an unnamed Aug, talking about Aug Incident. Comes with a voice-over.
Mostly mood, but also - external perception of marginalised groups of people based on misconceptions about their nature vs their internal perception of themselves, I suppose.
