Bradley doesn’t really know when it ended. If he’s honest, he doesn’t know when it began, either. He and Jake are like the tides, pulling in and pushing out on an endless cycle with no discernible edge. Sure, there’s a pattern there, but Bradley can’t find it, can’t control it. Or maybe he can, but he doesn’t want to. If there’s an end to be found, he doesn’t want it. Even if that means he’ll be dragged out every time he’s pulled in.

Summary
It’s the 75th Hunger Games. Insurrection in the districts has been rising for years, led by victors who act untouchable. To try and put out the flames of rebellion, the Capitol declares that twenty-four victors will return to the arena for the Quarter Quell.
Little does the Capitol know that the victors aren’t going to go down without a fight, or without taking the entirety of Panem with them. Bradley and Jake - two victors turned rivals by the Capitol turned allies by their mentors - are intent on getting themselves and their friends out of the arena, no matter what it takes.

Summary

“Is that a request or an order?”Their lives are fickle like a house of cards, a balancing act through and through of life, death, sunrises and sunsets. Chasing after each other and coming around near misses, Rooster's life has been a roundabout of victories and losses up till now but he can't say it's been bad, when everything seems to fall into place after so long. However, all it takes is one misstep for everything to come crumbling down.
Or, well, one bitter ex and a dramatic meeting, so it seems.
Rooster finds out he doesn't mind going the extra mile to help Hangman out of something stupid, he owes him his life, after all.

Hangman gave her a weird snort, “What? No, why would I want to subject myself to that?” he then smirked, and cocked his head to the direction of the open air around them, “How’d you feel about karaoke?”

After a break-up, Natasha "Phoenix" Trace came to a startling conclusion: That she and Jake "Hangman" Seresin could be the best of friends. They're pretty similar after all, especially in terms of bad relationship history, and maybe on being oblivious when someone's loving you from afar.
