    Sanji woke at the first hint of sunlight, his internal clock acting as an alarm, as if signaling it was time to start preparing the food.

    Though the restaurant wouldn’t be opening today.

    He threw the duvet off of his body, hairs raising when the cool morning air hit his skin. A chill ran through his body as he swung his legs over the side of the bed. His gaze shifted down to focus on the floor, lips pursed into a thin line. No matter how often this happened, there would always be a grim atmosphere on the day of the reaping.

    It was the day where children would be sent to an early grave, where families were ripped apart.

    The atmosphere would never be a pleasant one.
