Summary
This work is an Alternate Universe/Canon Divergence revision to Voltron Legendary Defender, Seasons 3 and 4.
The battle against Zarkon is over; Shiro, the leader of the Paladins, is gone. The team does their best to pick themselves up. Keith suffers through the classic symptoms of grief but in the end comes to terms with the loss of his surrogate big brother. As the Paladins figure out how to re-form Voltron and learn to work together, Prince Lotor and his Generals come on stage to fill the power vacuum left by the absence of Emperor Zarkon. Keith finds a new mentor who puts him through more than just a few changes. His close personal encounters with two of Lotor's Generals open his eyes to the fact that there is more depth to the Galra than rebel and Coalition leaders first led him to believe.

Summary
This work ties directly into Rejected by the Galra, and covers the journey of Lotor's Generals (Acxa, Zethrid, Ezor) as the join the Blade of Marmora and work their way rapidly up the ranks to become senior leaders within the Blades. It picks up at the end of Chapter 7 of Rejected by the Galra and runs in parallel with Chapters 8, 9, and 10 of that work. It dovetails back into Rejected by the Galra at the beginning of Chapter 11 of that work.
Ezor and Zethrid put the pieces of their shattered relationship back together and discover the power of forgiveness the hard way. Acxa endures a forced separation from Keith and her fragile confidence takes a major hit. The story of her journey over the course of the following eight months tells how she grows from the immature brat who joins the Blade of Marmora to the confident and unflappable Marmoran Senior Commander who makes her way to Earth to reunite with the love of her life and aid the Paladins.

This is an Alternate Universe revision to Voltron Legendary Defender, Season 8.
Saving the universe requires the Paladins of Voltron to come together with others as a unified team to confront a threat the likes of which has never been seen. A poor man's Fellowship of the Ring, or seven very brave, talented, flawed, and scared individuals teaming up for the greater good? A little bit of both because they all know there is only one outcome if they don't come together, and it's not good. Keith is forced to deal with the repercussions of hasty and impulsive decisions he made in the past. Allura is the first to identify the main threat to the universe and she crafts the strategy to stop it. The final two Paladins (White and Purple) join the band.

Each chapter is told from the POV of one of our main characters.These chapters originally started out as short stories written for Kacxa Week 2019. I broke them out when it became obvious they should be combined into a collection of short stories. Chapter 1 has not been published before. Chapter 2 was previously published as part of another multi-chapter work, Kacxa Drambles 2019, and it still remains there.

This is an Alternate Universe revision to Voltron Legendary Defender, Season 7.
The Paladins regroup following the battle in the Quintessence Field, and begin the long and arduous journey to Earth, seeking a replacement for the Castle of Lions. Broken relationships are repaired (somewhat), and new relationships are formed as couples unite. Gaining new allies and re-establishing contact with old ones, the Paladins are forced to overcome a series of challenges, each more complex than the last. Stalked by both friend and foe, what they don't know may come back to hurt them, as the final battle hits close to home.
