Prequel zaczynający się parę lat przed główną akcją; paladyni pojawią się dopiero w okolicach zakończenia, a cała akcja koncentruje się na Galranach, Imperium i Ostrzach.
Pracujący od dawna jako szpieg Ostrza Marmory Thace dostaje awans do Bazy Głównej Imperium, chociaż średnio nadaje się do nowej dla niego roli. Zarówno on jak Kolivan i Antok doskonale zdają sobie sprawę, że nie jest najlepszym kandydatem, ale nie zamierzają stracić okazji do infiltracji wojska Imperium z samej centrali. Thace radzi sobie lepiej niż się spodziewał, chociaż początki i sam wyjazd z dotychczasowej jednostki są dla niego trudne...
A potem do Bazy Głównej wraca z kilkumiesięcznej misji Prorok i na wierzch stopniowo wychodzą wszystkie powody, dlaczego Thace nigdy nie powinien tam trafić. Więcej w tagach i notce wstępnej ;)

Not that he actually has anyone to go with except Matt Holt, in his STRAIGHT BUT NOT NARROW t-shirt, bless his heart. Shiro pulls the last of the tapioca pearls up through the straw, crumpling the cup and tucking it into his backpack as he gets ready to leave. He doesn’t really have anything to do at home, all the homework is just ‘study for your final’, but he can’t just sit here in a field all day.
He smiles as he catches sight of Curtis, sitting under a tree a little distance away. Curtis could probably sit in this field until nightfall, and make good use of the time. He’s always drawing, like he is now, [...] He pretty much never shows anyone, but some of his finished pieces in other media are in a glass case in the art wing, and they are stunning. Just like their creator.

This work is an Alternate Universe/Canon Divergence revision to Voltron Legendary Defender, Seasons 3 and 4.
The battle against Zarkon is over; Shiro, the leader of the Paladins, is gone. The team does their best to pick themselves up. Keith suffers through the classic symptoms of grief but in the end comes to terms with the loss of his surrogate big brother. As the Paladins figure out how to re-form Voltron and learn to work together, Prince Lotor and his Generals come on stage to fill the power vacuum left by the absence of Emperor Zarkon. Keith finds a new mentor who puts him through more than just a few changes. His close personal encounters with two of Lotor's Generals open his eyes to the fact that there is more depth to the Galra than rebel and Coalition leaders first led him to believe.
