PROFESSOR LI TAO
BA SING SE UNIVERSITY
SPRING,195 AG
To my honorable colleague, Teaching Assistant Haoyu:
The courier I have sent this letter with has in her possession for you the promised collection of the letters we spoke of in an earlier conversation, comprising personal missives sent between the core members of Avatar Aang's knot of friends during the postwar period. In order for them to be displayed at the Museum of the Hundred Year's War, they must be sorted in chronological order and checked for any material that might be compromising to the character of both the people involved, especially Fire Lord Zuko: Fire Lord Izumi was very strict in what she wanted to be allowed known to the public, and our permission to display the letters is contingent upon her satisfaction. This task I bestow to you, with honor. You will find the ones kept by the late Waterbending Master are meticulously organized, while the others might give you some trouble, but I have faith in your abilities. Send word if you run into any trouble.
I remain your harried old

Or, five times Astarion regretted being seen over the past centuries, and one time he didn’t.

Summary
Suki was the first to tell her, after Katara agreed to that Summit proposal to marry Zuko all those months ago, that marriage wasn’t merely friendship.
She likes Zuko. She’s always liked him. The issue, then, isn’t whether she likes him; but when she started to like him like this.

“Oh,” Astarion breathes, eyes drooping into glassy little crescents. Well, if this is how he dies, Astarion thinks, this is how he dies. A shame that he’ll never get to plunge a stake through Cazador’s chest. “Death is so beautiful.”
“...Precisely how much of this spider’s blood did you consume?” Gale asks, his hands brushing Astarion’s hair off his soaked forehead. The touch makes the unbearable, painful heat in his body squeeze around him like a heavy chain. “You’re scorching. You could give Karlach a run for all her gold.”

“No,” he says, into the receiver. “Jesus. I wouldn’t do that to you.”

Summary
“Sometimes,” Astarion says, slurring with the drunk touch of truth serum on his tongue, “I think of what it would have been like had I not loved you. Would I be more free?”
“You’d be more powerful,” Seraphiel admits. This truth has been told so many times in sly side glances, taut half-smirks, quiet meditations. He already knows how this ends. “But you chose freedom. Freedom comes with insecurity.”
“I chose you,” Astarion says. “And I’m starting to think I regret it.”

Summary
The bond, Ben is convinced- or the Force, or the lingering remnants of Snoke’s power, or whatever keeps patching them through to each other at the worst possible moment- has a sorry sense of humor.
This, though- walking out of the fresher with a towel around his waist, wearing considerably less than the memorable moment when she had asked him if he had a cowl, or something, only to find her standing next to his bed- might be the worst joke the bond has played to date.
(Someone spikes Rey's drink, and the bond decides this is Ben's problem.)

Summary
To say that Will Graham is still an unmated, childless omega at the age of thirty-eight is his own choice is true. It is not to say that it is his preference. Will wants a mate and a family just as much – perhaps even more – than the next omega. He’s simply never met that one person who fit the bill before. And then he walks into Jack Crawford’s office and meets Hannibal Lecter and well that, as they say in the business, is that.
Now all he needs to do is convince Hannibal of that. But well, this is Hannibal Lecter he is dealing with. It must be done a certain…flair. But that isn’t a problem for Will. Not at all.
After all, snakes may kill mongoose, but one must never forget this as well: mongoose hunt snakes too.
It’s Will Graham’s turn to wage his war.
Or, here is a fic about omega! Will Graham manipulating alpha!Hannibal Lecter into getting exactly what he wants.
