Hen picks up on the third ring, smugness evident in her voice as she greets, "Edmundo Diaz. Why ever could you be calling at this hour?"
Eddie grits his teeth and sighs, "I need some advice."
Hen hums. "And it couldn't wait until morning?"
"It's kind of time sensitive," Eddie admits with a wince.
"I see. This advice you're so desperately in need of wouldn't happen to have anything to do with Coffee Guy, would it?"
"I don't recall saying I was desperate."
"Eddie," Hen says, unimpressed.
"Ugh, fine!" Eddie throws an arm up with all the flourish of an actress in a telenovela and then crosses it over his chest and tucks his hand into his armpit, embarrassed by his own dramatics. "It might possibly have to do with the guy I ran into at breakfast, yes."

Buck looks baffled when he asks, “You’re still hung up on Shannon?”
Pinching the bridge of his nose, he shakes his head negatively. “No. I’m not.” He’s fully shaking when he dares to look at Buck, “I think my libido died when she did, or something like that, because I just can’t do it, alright?”
Buck hesitates when he speaks, “So you don’t wanna have sex?”
“No, no, I wanna have sex,” the words feeling heavy on his tongue. He does. He does wanna have sex; he thinks about it, touches himself and wishes it were someone else doing it or that at least he had someone to share it with. Eddie wants to have sex, in theory. It’s the practical part that feels wrong. “It’s more,” he licks his lips, “It’s more like I want to have sex, and I can see myself having sex, but I can’t see myself doing it with someone else. It’s like I need more than just someone there willing to do it with me.”
“What does that mean?”
“I don’t know.” He admits with a heavy heart.

The Chief of the LAFD has had enough of the 118’s behaviour, so he puts in a call to his old friend Wallace Boden; after all, they’d been thinking of updating their command structure and operations anyway. Boden, along with his top two teams at Chicago Firehouse 51, arrive in L.A. to show the 118 a thing or two about teamwork and family. What they don’t expect is to find Evan “Buck” Buckley-Severide in the middle of it.
Bobby and co thought all they had to lose was their firehouse. As it turns out, they should have been more worried about losing Buck to the 51.

Summary
When the day started, Kelly didn't put much thought into it. It was just a normal shift, a normal day, until he noticed an unfamiliar Floater walk out of the Firehouse. His mind freezes on the man. A topical Floater doesn't look like that. Look at those arms. A topical Floater doesn't treat the station he subbing at with that much dedication and care, but Evan Buckley isn't like your normal floater.
Kelly attempts small talk, not his favorite thing, with the quiet and withdrawn Floater; however, any attempt of friendship is ignored. Buckley just keeps to himself and makes no attempts to engage with the rest of Firehouse 51 or any Firehouse he floats at.
Who is this man? Why is he keeping everyone at arm's length? Why is he on edge all the time? Why does the word Family cause a visceral reaction?

He stops just a step away from Buck where he's still leaning back on the counter, letting his eyes trail over his face before meeting Buck´s eyes again. “I'm kind of sick of watching you get hurt.” The whisper is raw between them and Buck can´t rip his gaze from the brown eyes staring into his.
