There’s plenty of things Logan would like to forget. Many things he has forgotten already. Then there are memories that lurk in deep cracks of Logan’s core which surge to the surface only when something strong shoves against their hiding spot, jostling them into the open where they cannot be ignored.

“Got lost in my thoughts for a sec, that’s all,” he says. The thin shield of a half-truth. Like hiding under a threadbare sheet to escape the dawn. Doesn’t matter whether Kurt believes him or not. He’s already moved on to his best option: distraction. Logan runs his hands over the muscles of Kurt’s lean thighs, over his backside, directly to the base of his tail.

"Why not do this in the Danger Room?" Slim asks as he steps onto the mat.
Because you don't need simulations right now, Logan thinks. You need to experience something real again; you need to be knocked back into the world. Also, he wouldn't be able to get Scott to agree to a 'no powers' stipulation in the Danger Room. It's what the place was built for, after all. In there Scott would have a much easier time winning with his optic blasts. But most importantly, the Danger Room keeps records of its use that are easily accessible. This is a thing that requires privacy. This room has only one window, but it has blinds that can be drawn. -

Summary
“Ack!” Kurt blinked at the harsh change in atmosphere. “Who is—” he laughed. “Logan, what are you doing in my room? Did I forget something in the jet?” The short man let out a chuckle in return and strode into the suite as he tossed his duffel bag into one of the chairs.
“Elf, you’re in my bed.” The words hit Kurt like a bucket of cold water. His midnight blue skin tinted purple as a flush rose to his cheeks and chest. To Logan it was charming, especially with how the blue mutant clutched at the bedsheets like a shocked maiden about to be whisked away by the villain.

The more Kurt observes of Logan, the more complicated his feelings become. It doesn't help that other members of the team seem to have a fondness for the old, gruff mutant as well.

It fell silent for another moment.
“But— but not us though. We aren’t dating,” Eddie clarified. Of course they weren’t. They just cohabitated and did everything together because he was inside Eddie’s mind. It wasn’t weird to have an alien parasite inside your mind. Well, that was weird, but not gay weird.
"Again. Not. A. Parasite."
“Close enough.”
"I’d rather be called your boyfriend than a parasite."
Eddie rolled his eyes and shoved his hands in his pockets. They still had a good few blocks to go. It would be a while before he could distract Venom with something in their— his apartment and make him forget the topic.
