Summary
After a cocky comment from Malfoy and a (totally justified) punch in the face from Harry, Malfoy ends up with a bruise on his face that just doesn't seem to want to go away, no matter what is attempted. Harry is confused by his Amortentia smells, Malfoy keeps asking him to punch him (literally and subtextually), and everybody seems to think that they can just tell Harry that he isn't straight anymore. On top of all that, Harry now has to figure out what to do when you find out you've got a soulmate. A fucking soulmate.

Summary
Draco Malfoy has a boyfriend.
Nobody knows who it is, no matter how many times Harry asks anyone who will listen. It’s definitely not taking up Harry’s every single thought. He can most certainly focus on other things, like schoolwork and Christmas presents.
When somebody slips to the Prophet that the mystery boyfriend is in fact Harry, he doesn’t know who else would be bothered to lie other than Malfoy himself. With only the slightest persuasion, Harry decides to head on up to Malfoy’s bedroom to confront him on the matter.
He should’ve known Malfoy would bite back.

Once he arrives back at Hogwarts for his eighth year, he realises there’s only one person he wishes he was getting them from. He begins reading some of the more interesting suggestions on how his admirers hoped they could get him to date them (aka essentially self-insert fanfics) and started taking notes.
Now he just has to put them into action against a certain stubborn Slytherin.OR

Malfoy didn't want to be a disappointment, but being one felt so good. And Potter wanted to have fun, and live as a teenager for once.
That is when they finally understood each other.
