Miles opens the door to the Wright and Co. Law Offices, and he's greeted with the bizarre sight of a little girl waiting alone in the middle of a messy room.
He comes to find that Phoenix Wright, the man he now calls his partner, became almost unrecognizable in the period Miles was abroad. His appearance is unkempt, his attitude is brazen, and most importantly, he is now a father, which was a role also given to Miles by proximity.
Spanning the harshest years his relationship with Wright had to endure, Miles comes to experience the highs and lows of being a romantic partner, and separately a parent.

Embarrassed, Yoshiki would latch onto his wrist, evoking a small cut with intention, drinking drop by drop, extending the moment for however long he could. When he wipes his mouth and apologizes, pretending to have gotten his fill, Hikaru would stroke his hair, smile warmly, and ask where he wanted to go that night.

Summary
'Hikaru' apparently doesn't have a human's base desires, but he still enthusiastically asked Yoshiki if he could touch him. The experience assures Yoshiki that something is seriously messed up in both their heads. That being said, touching 'Hikaru' makes his heart race, and 'Hikaru's' company puts his jumbled mind at ease. In moments where it is just the two of them, Yoshiki could pretend that it's okay to share this sort of intimacy.

It also feels right, having you this close.” 'Hikaru' took his right hand. He pulled it down against his cheek and leaned into it. The light in his eyes and the pleasure across his face looked almost ethereal. It was another distinctively 'Hikaru' expression. Non-human, dangerous, wrong.

Having previously lived on breadcrumbs of affection from the blacksmith, it takes every bit of power in the farmer's being to keep his composure.
