Summary
Ten years after graduating from high school, Levi meets with his old classmates to welcome the new year together. Despite his hatred for the cold, he agrees on going with them to a winter resort, a location that, with its little wooden cabins and fairy lights, seems to have come out of a postcard. There, during snowy days and late night talks by the fireplace, he gets close to Eren, the most popular boy when they were in school, and he soon discovers that the arrogant football player he used to know isn't there anymore, replaced instead by the warmth of someone who has waited ten years to meet him again.

During his first Halloween in college, Levi gets roped into participating in a fake ritual to summon a demon in the middle of the woods. Far from falling for such an obvious prank, Levi watches the ritual unfold with a cynical eye. Not even the strange mist rising around him nor the lonely figure walking in the midst of it are able to dent his rationality. That is until he is left alone in the solitary woods, and the newcomer shows his true colours, demanding a payment for his presence, a price Levi is all too willing to pay.

For as long as he could remember, Levi’s had an unrequited crush on his childhood friend, Eren. The two of them met when they were still children, and despite Levi being two years younger, their friendship became stronger over time, not once fading, not even when Eren went to college while Levi remained in high school.
The long distance only made Levi yearn for Eren all the more, counting down the days before Eren’s next visit to their hometown, wishing he could see him every day as he used to do. It’s during one of these visits that Eren suggests going on a trip to the beach to celebrate Levi’s eighteenth birthday and spend the New Year’s together. Too happy to have Eren all for himself for a few days, Levi immediately accepts, and through long walks on the beach, homemade dinners, and fireworks, he’ll come to realise that his crush isn’t so unrequited after all.

As a senior in high school, Levi’s world consists of afternoons spent skateboarding at the local park and of weekends bundled up in his bedroom. “I don’t want anyone else but you,” Eren said, slowly cupping Levi’s face, searching his gaze for signs of discomfort but when he didn’t find any, his touch became more confident. “No one else can make me feel like you do, and if you don’t stop me right now, I’m going to kiss you because it really looks like that’s what you want too.”
The pull between him and Eren was too strong to deny it, his real desires too palpable to blame the alcohol or the hype for the victory. Levi wanted Eren to kiss him, there was no mistaking the emotions coursing through him in that moment, the electric tension connecting the two of them, and so instead of replying, Levi simply closed his eyes, melting into Eren’s hands.

Eren's emerald eyes were shining with an animalistic hue, a primordial need to claim and mark matching the tones in his scent. His wolf ears stood tall over his head and his tail, thick and bushy, wagged calmly behind him like that of a predator waiting to attack his prey. Adrenaline shot through Levi in an instant, his own basic instincts telling him to run and hide, but the thrill of it all was too intense for him to shy away from it. He remained glued to the bed even as Eren crawled towards him, sharp teeth appearing behind his curled lips and hands pushing his hips backwards, spreading Levi's legs open for him again.
"I'm going to fucking ruin you," Eren growled, voice deep and guttural.
Levi didn't doubt he would.

Spring, the season where nature comes alive again after the winter’s slumber, where animals sleepily emerge from their dens and burrows, and the mountains’ ice thaws, expanding the lazy streams zigzagging through the land. As flowers bloom with new life, Levi finds himself in the same forest that saw him running away from Eren at the peak of the previous summer. This time, however, Eren and him are the only alpha and omega among the trees, and at the end of their private chase, Levi will welcome Eren’s bite with a full heart as it seals their future together.

Even if already bonded, Eren’s body responded to Levi's as if it were their first time. He wanted him more than anything else in the entire universe; it didn't matter that Levi was already his, that they had spent countless heats and ruts together. He never tired of giving Levi pleasure, of feeling his figure quiver under his ministrations, of seeing his face morph with ecstasy. His soul had been linked to Levi's since before they had even spoken to each other, when Eren could only admire the captain from afar, and that connection hadn't faltered throughout the years, only getting deeper with each passing day.
