    "Whoa, whoa, whoa," Shocker said, waving his arms around, "You telling me you got Spider-Man high?" He leaned back in his seat, nodding appreciatively, "Respect."

    Spider-Man finally looked up, gaze roaming over the mass of faces that all promised some sort of pain. He looked back up at Wade, then at them, then at Wade. "Whut?" he slurred.

    He squinted at them, lenses pinching tightly, and whispered loudly to Wade, enough for the crowd to hear, "I think I know these guys."

    It was silent for a beat.

    Then, "Holy shit, he really is high,"

    There’s a man sitting in the corner of the room, half cast in shadow. Peter’s vision was still mottled, but he can make out gray pants similar to his own. His roomie was wearing a white shirt, the sleeves twisted strangely, decorated with buttons and straps. It took several more blinks to realize that’s because it was a straitjacket.

    That is never a good sign.

    Peter jumped to his feet, almost threw up, and plastered himself to the wall, slowly easing down into a crouch. But the man only cocked his head to the side, hairless eyebrows quirking. When Peter inhaled, the stench of pain made his nose sting and his eyes water, overwhelming in its magnitude. The man’s eyes are hard and angry when they meet Peters’.

    “And who are you supposed to be? They actually giving me roommates again? Nice try, Francie!” this the man yelled at the door, “but I’m not buying it! Give im’ to someone else.”

    U not bby boi. Who dis? Wade punched into the phone, doing his best not to crack the screen with the pressure of his fingers.

    It took less than a minute for a new message to appear on screen.

    Baby Boiii: An old friend.

    Baby Boiii: What are you doing with someone like this?

    A picture followed and this time the screen did crack in Wade's grip.
    It's Peter. The picture is dark and musty looking, but he'd know that mound of brown hair and determined eyes anywhere. He's in the same Deadpool shirt he was wearing this morning, only it's now crumpled, dirty, and stained with blood. His arms were bound above his head. A gruesome cut on his forehead left a large trail of blood down his face, where he was glaring fiercely at the camera with his mouth gagged.

    When Madcap kidnaps Wade's boyfriend, Peter Parker, it's up to him and the Merc's for Money to save this "imaginary lover" before it's too late.

    “I’m sorry,” Peter says. "I'm sorry, MJ, your apartment was closest."
