Summary
Damen has known since he was a boy that he would one day marry the enemy.
To put an end to the Whispered War, and to take the throne of Akielos as a complete ruler in the eyes of his Kyroi, he will wed the prince of Vere. He's never met Laurent, has no idea of his likes or dislikes or wishes - but it can't be too tragic, can it? They can't be that different, growing up as they both have in royal circumstances with magic at their fingertips. And it's not as though they have to live together for all eternity - they only have to make it through summer, and then Laurent will return to his own country. One season, in exchange for peace.

Summary
