It didn’t make sense; why was Booth so worked up over David? Come to think of it, he had been bothered by it even before he’d met him, which she’d put down to his distaste for dating apps, but it was a bit excessive even for that. And in the interrogation room, he’d been picking at David about his dating habits, asking how long it would last between him and Brennan, practically pushing him out of the interrogation room. It was like he wanted, no, needed, to find something wrong with David.
Her eyes widened at the realization. “You don’t like him because he’s dating me.”
