Leon joined the secret task force against Umbrella, excelling in his training, but while getting involved, he gets the reader's attention through his skill. He was the rookie who survived Raccoon City and the one the readers can't seem to stop favouriting and thinking about when overseeing his performance. At the same time, he gets made fun of for being the 'rookie'; the reader can't help but want to get to know what's beneath the surface.

25 years after Raccoon City, Sherry Birkin, now a government agent, is kidnapped, presumably by two scientists researching the Raccoon City incident, survivor and fellow agent, Leon S. Kennedy is tasked with finding her, along with Claire Redfield--another survivor of the incident and longtime friend of Leon's.
While Claire is technically not an agent, the government allows the two of them to work together under two conditions: They must work under fake names, and act as a married couple.
