“There are two people sitting at thirteen. Which one is the guy you were talking about?”
“The older one?” Jake stammers. “On the left.” Unhelpfully, he holds up the glass of soda. “He got the coke.”
Just as abruptly as it arrived, all the tension drains from Jay’s expression. “Oh, good. Because I call dibs on the other one.”

Summary
Riki has never been good at maintaining relationships or at least that’s what he has begun to believe. You would think that being born not necessarily mortal would give you plenty time to learn about how the world and the people in it work, but no. He was just as clueless and lost about it as any other seventeen year old.

In a world where vampires exist far more abundantly than people would like to believe yet blend in just like everyone else, seventeen year old vampire, Nishimura Riki was able to live normally for most of his life— if being kind of friendless and somewhat of a social outcast at his high school was normal that is.
