Summary
When Vex agreed to bring Saundor as her +1 to her brother's wedding, it had been a dream scenario. They were young, in love, and both breaking their backs for their careers, so a vacation to the Bay of Gifts was a perfect break for them to re-commit themselves to each other while celebrating Vax and Gilmore's nuptials.
There's just one problem.
They broke up, and now Vax is asking her to pay for that gap in the vacation, money that she cannot afford, so she has to think fast. Maybe her brain is working too fast when she tells Vax, then, that she actually does have a partner. A girlfriend who would love to come along for the trip in Saundor's stead! What luck, now she doesn't have to pay, someone else can enjoy the trip, and Vex doesn't look pathetic. The only problem is: Vex is still very, pathetically single, so she has to find someone to pose as her SO and fast.
Enter, Keyleth Ashari.
To Vex, nothing in this arrangement can go wrong (until she has to orchestrate a breakup, something that hurts to even think about at the start).
To Keyleth, everything can go wrong (because sometimes even looking at Vex sends her into a yearning tailspin).
Their only goal? Make it until the wedding.

The same traveler who was so used to being alone while traveling the multiverse was also notorious for unconsciously collecting a jar of hearts everywhere she went.
Kate Bishop has feelings for her best friend during the most difficult time of said friend's life; America is still processing her traumatic past, while trying to simultaneously find her sister and a way to get her powers back.

Imogen thrust out a hand, her stupid Gelvaan manners kicking in before she could stop them.
“Imogen Temult.”
The woman examined her hand for a beat, not with hostility, but something more like surprised curiosity. Before Imogen could yank it away, cold fingers wrapped themselves around Imogen’s hand and gave it a gentle shake.
Imogen put every single brain cell she had left into trying not to think about those long and cool fingers, and how they might feel in other places.
“Laudna,” the woman introduced herself.
“Beautiful name,” Imogen said, almost biting her tongue off after she finished saying it.
OR
Imogen and her daughter Flora have just moved to Jrusar. Laudna quickly becomes Imogen's best friend, and the two of them learn to navigate life and love together.

The heroes of Exandria have done it. Predathos has been defeated, Ruidus made independent, the world finally at peace in an admittedly new and strange status quo. Vox Machina, The Mighty Nein, Bells Hells... These are names of legend, feats and stories that will be sung by bards for years to come. But what about their descendants, their children? What about the ones that must now grow and adapt to this new Exandria, the ones that must forge a name, an identity for themselves so they can break the chain of the ones that came before them?
And what if fate came together to form them all into an adventuring party? Well, who knows what could happen.
(This is as canon compliant as possible- though it is predicting the inevitable end of Campaign 3. This was written before C3E113, so any lore inconsistences or changes are due to that. This fic is set up to mimic the set up of an actual D&D game.)
