“You just saw me four days ago,” Akaashi reminds, a little amused. He’s going over Tenma’s latest chapter and scribbles out a line of needless dialogue.
“So? That means I’ve been missing you for four whole days!” Bokuto says it like it’s an enormous tragedy. As if four days had felt more like four years. “Don’t you miss me?”
Akaashi is glad Bokuto can’t see how his face flushes with embarrassment.
“Of course I do,” Akaashi says, too softly, with too much feeling. God, how stupid and love-struck he must sound. It’s a good thing Bokuto never seems to notice. “I always— I always miss you.”

That finally made Zoro look up, his face slick with sweat – and tears? Surely not – his gaze intense as he searched Sanji’s face, the look in his eye desperate and unsure. At last he swallowed and nodded again, reaching up to cup the blonde’s jaw once more, “No, I won’t. But just in case, I’m trusting you not to let me.”
And that was easy to promise, Sanji nodding back as he leaned in that last bit, kissing the idiot. His lips were still soft, his teeth too sharp, and for a moment they went slowly, tasting each other, the aching need between them almost sweet, almost real.

Bokuto was almost wrecked at the mere sight of Akaashi laid out before him. He could see it in his eyes, how Bokuto’s strong frame was on the verge of trembling. He was barely holding back, his teeth slowly sinking into his bottom lip. “It’s amazing.”
And this made Akaashi realize that he was going to fold sooner than expected.

Sanji stared at him.
