He raised an eyebrow and twirled her around quickly, until her back was pressed to his chest and he ducked his head until his lips were right against her ear and hummed. “Well then I’d tell you how amazing you look, and how much I’d like to leave a mark on your pretty skin.” He ducked lower and nosed at the juncture between her neck and shoulder. Her head tilted to the side, giving him more room to explore. He grazed his teeth against the smooth expanse of skin, making Buck gasp and tighten her hold on his hand where it laid against her stomach.
“Eds…” She gasped and spun around in his hold, standing on her toes. “Need you to take me home now. Please.” Eddie stood straight and furrowed his brow worriedly. Did he take it too far? Was that too much for being in a bar that smelled of tobacco and stale beer? She must have seen something in his eye because she simply pulled the hand still holding hers to her lips and gave a soft kiss before leaning close to his lips, letting her lips ghost over his. “Really need you to fuck me and I’d rather not do it in a trashy bar bathroom the first time.” She nipped lightly on his bottom lip.

Summary
The ride to the hospital went fast enough but to Buck, it stretched for hours, days, months. The gauze beneath her hands soaking through with Eddie’s blood, the same blood that was currently swimming in Buck’s mouth and coating her skin.
Later she’d remember him waking up to ask if she’d been hurt, but at the moment all she could think about was the fact that she had been too much of a coward to admit her feelings and now the chance was slipping through her fingers.
Eventually the engine pulled to a stop and Buck moved on auto pilot, helping the others get Eddie onto the stretcher, watching as they wheel him through the glass doors and had to remind herself that they weren’t supposed to go past the glass doors. Eddie shouldn’t have to go beyond them either.
“Buckley, you good?” Mehta asked, slapping a hand down onto her shoulder. The touch was a shock to her system and seemed to bring her back to reality.
“No.” Buck said simply before turning and threw up.

She felt the bed dip next to her and then a body was hovering over hers, stroking her sides gently. “Well, Evelyn, you’re stressing over nothing. They’ve already met you once before at my shield ceremony. They won’t care what you’re wearing.”
Buck reached up, holding his hips and opened one eye. “The last time they met me, I was just your work partner, plus I was not at my best. I had a stupid cast and was on crutches and hadn’t been able to shower properly. And you know you’re lying, your mom will care what I’m wearing. You’ve told me enough Shannon stories to know that appearances matter, especially on a holiday.”

Eddie pulled back until he could look at his wife’s face brushing her hair back. “There is absolutely nothing to be sorry for. Am I a little sad that I wasn’t there? Sure. Am I sad that her waves are gone for now? Again, sure. But I could never be upset about it. If you felt like it needed to be done, then it needed to be done.”
Buck hummed and leaned her head on his chest. “I didn’t, at least not right away. I made a comment when I was brushing it this morning and she asked if it could be done today. Said she wanted to surprise you guys. I did get a video of the whole thing though.”

“Haz? Harry? What happened? You stopped talking all of a sudden.” Liam yelled into the phone, clearly frantic.
Harry scrambled to his feet and held the phone up. “I’m fine, I gotta go!” He shouted and ran to catch up to the dogs who were currently jumping around a man, holding his small puppy close to his chest. He breathed harshly as he caught up and put his hands on his hips. “Everyone, heel!”
Immediately, the group laid on the ground and stared up in excitement at the dog in the man’s arms. Harry rushed to collect the leashes and held them in a tight grip, even though they were looped on his wrist. “I’m so sorry about them! They normally don’t rush other dogs, especially when they’re on their leashes..”
“Yea, well maybe you shouldn’t bring so many to the park at one time.” The man chided and looked Harry up and down. “Isn’t there a rule about it or something?”

I’m protecting both of us.” Zayn explained, tossing the shoulder strap from the bag on his shoulder, and grabbed his phone and charger from the bedside table. “I’m gonna go get a hotel room. Have a safe flight Lou.”
Zayn started walking away, making sure his eyes didn’t linger on anything in the apartment. He didn’t hear any footsteps behind him, meaning Louis wasn’t following him. He chose to take that as a good sign, Louis was accepting what Zayn wanted.
“I love you! And I always will! I’m going to come back and prove that!” Louis shouted down the hall as Zayn opened the front door.

Louis cleared his throat, having forgotten for a second that he had even fallen. “I think so. I didn’t put all of my weight on it, at least I don’t think I did. I’m sure Harry will insist on wrapping it when we get upstairs either way.”
