Obviously they knew when it all started.
Everything started normal: a few teasing jabs from Sylvain, Felix scoffing in annoyance to get him to focus, but somehow, all of that got forgotten when Felix had the sudden bright idea to kiss Sylvain. And surprisingly, Sylvain kissed him back as if this was the first thing he had ever been serious about in his life.

Later, when he stumbles across Felix in the alley between the dorms and the sauna, crouched low to the ground and stroking a gray-striped cat, Sylvain still can’t find it in himself to be mad, mostly because he’s too busy trying to convince his heart to keep beating.
It’s just Felix, he tells himself. It’s just a cat. Two things he sees every damn day, and yet, when you put them together like this, the sight is lethal enough to kill him on the fucking spot.
Sylvain is a liar. Felix sees through him.
